Pre-sessional courses at the Academic Language Centre
Are you about to start a course of study and you need to brush up your language skills? Do you need to provide evidence of your language capability before you can enrol in your course? The Academic Language Centre can help.
Intensive summer programme
The Academic Language Centre offers an intensive summer programme for international students who need to take an IELTS test in order to be admitted to the degree programme of their choice. The pre-sessional programme consists of two course modules and an official IELTS test.
The programme is also open to students of Leiden University who are planning to study abroad for one or two semesters and have to meet specific English language conditions.

The Academic Language Centres offers much more than this. You can take part in intercultural management training, follow an Acculturation course or even have a course tailor-made to your requirements.
