What is the EL CID week?
The Introduction week EL CID (August ) is the official orientation week for all first year students of Leiden University. 

Can international students part-take in this week?
International Bachelor or exchange (Bachelor) students are also welcome to join this programme. For non-bachelor international students, the other 2 parts of the Induction Programme, the acculturation programme and the 2-day introduction programme, would be more suitable.

When?
The programme takes place at the end of August each year before the start of the new academic year in Leiden in September.  This year's programme will is on 15-19 August 2011 

Costs & how do I sign up?
Costs are 65 euro. 
You can sign up until 10 August.
